Sometimes I get to doubting myself, feeling down:
Sometimes I feel like I'm living my life like it's gold plated
A hot gilded mess
...waiting futilely for an alchemist in shining armor.
but that armor is rusty too.
dang, what to do?
but then i come to my senses:
I throw off all the heavy metal slowing me down
wrap a bright scarf around my head
sport it like a crown
and let my platinum personality shine thru....
what was i thinking?
