i spent so much time watching my back
that i forgot about the front
and now i am in the middle of a mess
i fronted you my heart
without a backup plan
you had the best thing in front of you
but you turned your back
now i must confront tears
as my back is against the wall
but i can't front
i'd take you back in a minute....

Day 1 - I'm Just Sayin'
April is National Poetry Month. I knew I loved April for a reason! For this month I will write and post a poem every.single. day. Hold me to it.
